Terms of purchase

1. About Olympia

  • If you wish to get in touch with us, please send an email to [email protected] or send a DM to @olympia.rings on Instagram with your inquiry and contact information, and we will get back to you shortly.

2. Ordering

  • Once you have completed your order, an order confirmation will be sent to your email address. In the confirmation, you will find all the details about the products, prices, billing, and delivery address. 
  • If there is any mistake in the order confirmation, please contact us immediately via email at [email protected].

3. Delivery

  • Our normal delivery times are 2-5 days. Please note that orders placed on weekends will be shipped at the earliest on the following Monday. 
  • If there are any delays in delivery (without prior notice of extended delivery times), please contact us at [email protected]
  • All packages are shipped with trackable shipping, and the shipment ID will be sent via email.

4. Prices

  • All prices in the store are listed in SEK and include 25% VAT. 
  • We reserve the right to adjust prices due to supplier price changes, printing errors in the price list, and inaccuracies in prices due to incorrect information.

5. Right of Withdrawal

  • When purchasing products on the website, you, as a customer, have a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal that applies from the time you receive an ordered item.

5.1 When Exercising Your Right of Withdrawal:

  • You must notify us that you wish to withdraw. The notification should be sent to us at [email protected]. In your message, please clearly and explicitly provide your name, address, email address, order number, and specify the goods for which the return applies.
  • You should return the products to us immediately and no later than within the statutory 14 days after the withdrawal notification.
  • You are responsible for the return shipping, delivery, and condition of the products upon return, so the products should be sent well-packaged and in their original packaging.
  • We reserve the right to deduct an amount equivalent to the depreciation in value compared to the original value of the product when it has been used or damaged from the refund amount.

5.2 The Right of Withdrawal Does Not Apply To:

  • Custom-made products that have been tailored specifically for you or have a distinct personal character according to your preferences.

6. Return and Complaints

  • We inspect all products before they are shipped to you. If the product is damaged or incorrectly delivered upon arrival, we undertake, in accordance with applicable consumer protection legislation, to remedy the error free of charge. 
  • You must always contact us for approval before returning a defective item. 
  • Complaints should be made immediately after the defect is discovered.

6.1 How to Proceed with a Complaint:

  • Any faults or defects should always be reported to [email protected], providing your name, address, email address, order number, and a description of the issue.
  • If we are unable to remedy the fault or deliver a similar product, we will refund you for the defective product in accordance with applicable consumer protection legislation. We cover the return shipping costs for approved complaints.
  • We reserve the right to deny a complaint if it is found that the item is not faulty in accordance with applicable consumer protection legislation. In complaints, we adhere to the guidelines of the General Complaints Board, see arn.se.

7. Limitation of Liability

  • We do not take responsibility for indirect damages that may arise from the product. 
  • We do not accept responsibility for delays/errors due to circumstances beyond our control (Force Majeure). These circumstances may include labor disputes, fire, war, government decisions, reduced or non-delivery from suppliers, or other factors beyond our control.

8. Product Information

  • We reserve the right to correct any errors on this website and to sell out of products. We do not guarantee that the images accurately reflect the products' exact appearance, as there may be some color differences depending on the screen, photo quality, and resolution. We always strive to present the products as accurately as possible.

9. Cookies Information

  • According to the law on electronic information, visitors to a website must be informed about the use of cookies. The cookie information can be used to track a user's surfing.   • By shopping at Olympia, you accept our data protection policy and our processing of your personal data. We value your privacy and do not collect more information than necessary to process your order. We never sell or disclose your information to third parties without a legal basis.
  • Olympia is responsible for the processing of personal data you have provided to us as a customer. Your personal data is processed by us in order to manage your order, and in cases where you have requested newsletters or promotional offers - to tailor marketing to your individual needs.
  • Below is a summary of how we, in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), store and process your data.

  • 10.2 What information do we store?
  • To be able to process your order and respond to order-related questions (customer service), we store your first name and last name, address, telephone number, email address, IP address, and purchase history. 
  • Your data is stored as long as we have a legal basis to process your data, such as to fulfill the agreement between us or to comply with a legal obligation, such as the Accounting Act.

  • 10.4.1 Payment provider
  • During the purchase process, information is shared with our payment provider. The data stored includes first name, last name, address, email address, and phone number. If you choose to pay by invoice, your social security number is also stored with the payment provider. This information is retained to facilitate the purchase and protect both parties against fraud. The payment providers (payment services) we use are: Swish, Stripe, Nets.
  • 10.4.2 Shipping company.                                                                                                               
  • To be able to deliver your orders and fulfill our agreement, we must share specific information with the shipping company. The information shared with the shipping company includes first name, last name, and address details for delivery. Email address and/or mobile number may also be shared with the shipping company for notification purposes.The shipping company we collaborate with is: Postnord.

  • You have the right to receive an extract of all the information we have about you. The extract will be delivered electronically in a readable format.

  • We use industry standards like SSL/TLS and one-way hash algorithms to securely store, process, and communicate sensitive information such as personal data and passwords. We use a Swedish platform, Quickbutik, operated by Quickbutik AB located in Helsingborg.
  • 11. Changes to the General Terms and Conditions
  • We reserve the right to make changes to these terms and conditions at any time. Changes to the terms will be published online on the website. The amended terms are considered accepted in connection with orders or visits to the website.

12. Dispute and Choice of Law

  • In the event of a dispute that cannot be resolved in agreement with the company's customer service and the customer, you, as a customer, can turn to the General Complaints Board (ARN), see arn.se. For residents of an EU country other than Sweden, complaints can be submitted online via the EU Commission's platform for dispute resolution, see http://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr
  • In the event of a dispute, we follow decisions from ARN or equivalent dispute resolution bodies. 
  • Disputes regarding the interpretation or application of these general terms and conditions shall be interpreted in accordance with Swedish law.
