About Echo

Echo, a figure from Greek mythology, was known for her beautiful voice and her ability to repeat the words of others. She was a forest nymph and a companion of the goddess Artemis. Echo met a tragic fate when she was cursed by the gods, reduced to nothing more than a voice as punishment for trying to protect Zeus from his wife’s wrath. This transformation left her unable to speak her own words, only able to echo those of others. Echo symbolizes both the beauty of the voice and the loneliness that arises when one cannot express their own thoughts and feelings.
