About Cora:

Cora, also known as Kore or Persephone, is a fascinating figure in Greek mythology. She was the daughter of the gods Zeus and Demeter and was known as the goddess of the return of spring and the harvest. Cora was also famous for her fate, as she was abducted to the underworld by Hades, the god of the realm of the dead.

Her abduction led to the grief of Demeter and initiated her quest for Cora, resulting in the cycle of the seasons. During the months Cora spent in Hades' realm, it was winter on Earth, and when she returned to her mother, spring came back.
